IN PART 3 OF THIS SERIES ON "QUALITIES," (3/3) WE WILL BE DISCUSSING THE QUALITIES OF A driven person.

Is it possible to become a driven person, or is one simply born that way?

We all know a highly driven person. They are often leaders, executives, entrepreneurs, and influencers. Driven people are highly successful because they put in the needed work without lacking motivation.

Aspiring to be like them, we listen to their podcasts, read their blogs, and follow their step-by-step highlights on Instagram. Here's what you need to know about every driven person, qualities that come naturally, and the ones you can develop over time.

THESE ARE THE TOP 5 TRAITS THAT EVERY DRIVEN PERSON HAS, AND EVERYONE ELSE WANTS!

Traits of a Driven Person

Hardworking

Driven people are hardworking!

No matter what they are doing or where they are, they will show up ready to work.

Though being driven and hardworking are incredible qualities, there is also a negative side to being too hardworking. Driven people often get accused of having tunnel vision. They put their head down and work. Highly focused and motivated, they can often forget about those around them.

When you are becoming more hardworking, more driven, and task-oriented, don't forget to focus on the relationships that hold it all together. We exist for relationships, and everything we build on this earth is inevitably for others; we must never forget that.

ambitious

A driven person is exceptionally ambitious, enthusiastic, and motivated to get things done.

They are dreamers and usually see endless possibilities to accomplish tasks for themselves or the companies they are working for.

As with all personality traits, there are negatives. For the ambitious, it's a lack of ability to see obstacles in their way, so they don't prepare well for the possibilities of failure.

When goal planning and dreaming for the future (the place that most ambitious and driven people thrive), make sure to take focused time to brainstorm possible hurdles to your ambitious goals.

This will set you apart from others as you pursue success. Setbacks won't derail you but propel you forward!

6 Habits Of Highly Ambitious People

consistent

A driven person is consistent in all areas of their life.

Others may call them steady, sturdy, and dependable. These people often bring tons of stability to a work environment.

Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerburg, two of the wealthiest and most successful people on the planet, are considered so consistent that they are robotic in a sense. However, being consistent and predictable in their habits is necessary to their driven nature and busy schedules.

In his book Atomic Habits, Best-selling author James Clear says, "Habits do not restrict freedom, they create it." Being consistent frees driven people to focus on other areas of success rather than the mundane tasks of life.

Passionate

All driven people are full of passion in some area of their lives.

They may have specific areas in their work or personal life that they are focused on, but they always have at least one thing that drives them.

Driven people are zealous, intense, and committed to success. They provoke and inspire others to join them in their quest to fulfill their vision.

It's their passion that drives their success. The relentless pursuit of greatness through intensity and emotion causes driven people to become the most excellent versions of themselves.

In contrast to the positives, they can also be considered narrow-minded and unwilling to allow others around them to be creative if it interferes with their ideas. Passionate people become so focused and determined that they allow feeling and emotion to drive them.

It's crucial that when you are full of drive and vision, you do not forget to allow others around you to share their passions with you as well. Passion means nothing if you cannot build up others to carry the vision further than you can.

Here are some great articles on passionate people that will inspire and encourage you!

determined

Driven people are hyper-focused, determined, robust, and tenacious in fulfilling tasks and goals. Their determination is driven by passion and fueled by hard work!

Driven people have incredible willpower made up of steadfastness, perseverance, and persistence!

Because these qualities pair well with passion and robot-like consistency, others may view determined people as pushy and bossy. Driven people must remember to slow down and notice when their determination and grit cause others to become anxious or frustrated.

As I said earlier, driven people are often leaders. Leaders need people to follow them, or they are just passionate and ambitious, and their dreams will lay dormant. When pursuing goals with passion, ambition, and consistency, be careful not to let your determination become a hindrance to your driven nature by destroying relationships around you.
